- Your Role within the WebAgency Team

As a member of our Copywriting and Content Strategy team, you will help deliver a wide variety of digital content for WebAgency’s clients.
In this role, you will:
- Write, edit and proofread sales and marketing copy for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, SEO initiatives, paid search campaigns, blogs, social media and more
- Write, edit and proofread copy for digital tools and applications
- Use data, research and customer/audience insights to create digital content
- Perform content inventories; conduct content audits and gap analyses; and develop sitemaps, content models and information architectures for websites and more
- Perform competitive reviews, SEO audits and keyword research
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders, SMEs, users and customers
- Collaborate with other writers, designers, SEO experts, managers, stakeholders and other team members (internally and client-side) to create excellent content and user experiences
- Assist other team members with developing and recommending SEO-driven content strategies
- Recommend layouts for web pages, digital tools and emails and place copy into templates and prototyping tools
- Help mentor other copywriters, providing guidance and editorial feedback
- Help manage copy projects and project workloads

- Excel at conversion and SEO copywriting
- Effectively proofread your own work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Enjoy writing both long-form and short-form digital content
- Write in a conversational style, turning jargon into everyday language and integrating keyword phrases into copy naturally
- Be able to effectively organize and present content and key messages
- Write effectively for multiple digital channels, including websites, email, mobile, social media and more
- Enjoy researching and writing about products, services and topics in an authentic and meaningful way
- Be able to understand business goals and audience needs while delivering content that satisfies both
- Understand SEO best practices and the relationship between content and SEO
- Have a keen attention to detail, while still being able to see the big picture
- Welcome challenges and enjoy problem-solving
- Be eager to learn new skills and better ways to get things done
- Be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on time

- Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or Communications
- 5+ years of experience as a copywriter in the digital space
- Conversion and SEO copywriting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and familiar with Microsoft Excel
- Financial services copywriting or experience writing sales copy for regulated industries
- UX/UI copywriting experience
- Experience with prototyping, wireframing, UX/UI or design
